What do our ambassadors do?

  1. With our comprehensive database, identify your friends, classmates, and teachers from your community and school.

  2. Using our custom templates and follow-up frameworks, send each contact a personalized message promoting “Mind Matters” and the importance of mental health awareness after COVID-19.

  3. Follow up with your contacts, and use your personal relationships to spark critical conversations to de-stigmatize mental illness.

  4. Share our work and resources on social media (@mindmattersguide).

  5. Spread the word and recruit new ambassadors. It’s that easy!

Ambassador applicationS:

Ambassadors commit one to two hours per week to contacting friends and classmates through our customized framework (as described above). They do the critical work of encouraging students to look into mental health resources and highlight the importance of student perspectives. All ambassadors are eligible for community service hours.
